To return into the Light one must first experience Darkness.

To consider Darkness or Light more powerful than the other negates the transitory nature of everything. Both are but qualities of a state of temporal beingness as everything straddles a teetering-totter threshold between this and the next thing around the bend.

Liminality is an optional, sacred, no money back guarantee third option, beyond duality, of remembering the greater divinity and impermanence of things.

Imbolc, for me, is a time of practicing, dancing in and out of the extremes, embracing wholeheartedly what is and is not then forgetting everything completely.

Every change is a type of death, decaying not an end per se but rather another type of liminality between the next type of incarnation of aliveness, feeding, blossoming from the sum of everything.
